Laboratory for Advanced and Multifunctional Polymeric Biomaterials

LAMP Biomaterials

Welcome to the Bencherif Laboratory

The overall focus of the research in the Bencherif LAMP Biomaterials Laboratory is the fundamental understanding and development of polymeric materials for biomedical applications with a specific emphasis on tissue engineering, drug delivery, and cancer immunotherapy.

Our group is highly interdisciplinary as our research is positioned at the intersection of polymer chemistry, materials science, engineering, biology, and medicine, and we work with a variety of collaborators to translate our biomaterials towards clinical use. We passionately strive to make a real difference every day to improve lives of others.

Biomaterials Design

Biomaterials design is a critical element towards the discovery of customizable 3D polymeric materials for many diverse biomedical applications including Tissue Engineering, Drug Delivery, and Cancer Immunotherapy.
